Ethical Scenarios for Internal Auditors

Format: Online

Internal audit leaders at the director and manager level are often on the front lines of navigating complex ethical situations—from independence and objectivity, pressure from stakeholders, conflict resolution and managing sensitive information. This roundtable provides a practical forum to explore real-world ethical scenarios encountered in today’s audit environment and how to respond with confidence, consistency and in a positive collaborative way.

Through interactive discussion and peer exchange, participants will examine how to apply ethical principles in day-to-day audit activities, balance competing priorities, and reinforce a culture of integrity within their teams, as well as promote ethical behavior across their organization. The session will focus on practical decision-making approaches, helping attendees navigate gray areas while maintaining alignment with the Standards and organizational expectations.

Participants will leave with actionable insights to strengthen both their personal judgment and team-level ethical practices across audit engagements.

This Executive event is an exclusive benefit only available to Audit Leaders Network Members. Audit Leaders Network provides access to essential relationships, professional development, and tailored resources for today’s leaders.
