The Northwest Ohio Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) serves Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. The Chapter has over 85 active members.

May is International Internal Audit Awareness Month!

To honor and celebrate the internal audit function and its professionals, please join us at an engaging in person only chapter event sponsored by CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen LLP) at Inverness Country Club. Along with quality education offering 2 CPE, this in-person event provides a wonderful networking opportunity for professional and student members alike. CLA to provide complementary light appetizers, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drink options.

Navigating the New IIA Topical Requirements: What Internal Audit Needs to Know Now - This session is designed to help internal audit leaders and team members understand what the new IIA Topical Requirements mean in practice and how to operationalize them without disrupting audit effectiveness or stakeholder value.

From Concept to Execution: Practical AI Use Cases for Internal Audit - Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping how internal audit functions plan, execute, and deliver assurance but many teams are still unsure where to start or how to move from experimentation to meaningful adoption. This session focuses on practical, real‑world use cases for enabling AI within internal audit, with an emphasis on driving efficiency, improving risk insight, and enhancing audit quality without compromising governance or professional judgment. Designed for internal audit leaders and team members, the session will explore how AI can be applied across the audit lifecycle from risk assessment and audit planning to fieldwork, testing, and reporting.
