Dear Members and Colleagues,

As we embark on a new chapter year, I am excited about the opportunities ahead and the collective growth we will achieve. This year marks a pivotal time for our profession, as we prepare for the implementation of the new Global Internal Audit Standards. These Standards will not only elevate the practice of internal auditing globally but also challenge us to strengthen our capabilities and reaffirm our commitment to excellence.

Our chapter’s focus this year will be on three key priorities: implementing the new Standards, increasing the number of Certified Internal Auditors (CIAs) among our members, and expanding networking opportunities while maintaining our tradition of delivering quality training experiences.

Implementation of Global Internal Audit Standards

As internal auditors, we understand the critical importance of staying ahead of governing changes and professional transformations. Our chapter will be offering targeted resources, workshops, and discussions to ensure every member is well-prepared to adopt and implement the new Global Internal Audit Standards effectively. We encourage all members to engage actively in these initiatives to ensure a seamless transition.

Increasing the Number of CIA Certificate Holders

Professional certification is a testament to our expertise and dedication to the field of internal auditing. This year, we aim to significantly increase the number of CIA certificate holders within our chapter. We will provide expanded support, including study groups, resources, and training sessions to help members achieve this important milestone in their careers.

Expanding Networking Opportunities

In today’s interconnected world, building strong professional networks is more important than ever. We will be creating more opportunities for members to connect, share insights, and collaborate. From formal events to informal gatherings, our chapter is committed to fostering a supportive and engaging community where members can build lasting professional relationships.

Lastly, our commitment to delivering high-quality training remains unwavering. We will continue to offer a diverse range of learning opportunities that not only meet the needs of our members but also keep us at the forefront of industry trends and best practices.
