Welcome to the North Central Florida Chapter of The Institute of Internal Auditors
I’m excited to welcome you to the North Central Florida Chapter of The Institute of Internal Auditors.
Internal auditing continues to evolve as the organizations we serve face increasingly complex risks - from artificial intelligence and cybersecurity to fraud, regulatory change, governance, and organizational resilience. None of us has all the answers, and that’s one of the reasons our professional community matters so much. We learn from each other, share what is working, and help one another navigate what’s next.
As a chapter, our goal is simple: to create opportunities for our members to learn, connect, grow, and contribute to the profession.
Throughout the year, we’ll offer educational programs, networking opportunities, professional development, certification support, student outreach, and other opportunities to get involved. We also want to continue creating spaces where internal auditors can have real conversations about the challenges we face, not just hear another presentation and go home.
One of the things I value most about our chapter is the people who make it up. We come from different industries, organizations, and levels of experience, but we share a commitment to doing our work with integrity, objectivity, and a desire to continually improve.
Whether you’ve been a member for years or are just getting started, I encourage you to get involved in whatever way works for you. Attend an event. Bring a colleague. Volunteer for a committee. Help us support students entering the profession. Share something you’ve learned. Or simply introduce yourself and meet someone new.
You never know which conversation, connection, or experience might make a difference in your career - or in someone else’s.
Thank you for being part of the North Central Florida Chapter. I’m looking forward to a year of learning, growing, and building our profession together.
