This IIA Companion Audit Tool is designed to go with the Global Practice Guide: Auditing Model Risk Management, 2nd Edition. The template is designed as a general usage list for internal auditors starting model risk management engagements. The considerations are neither mandatory nor all-encompassing. The list is designed to be a starting point for internal auditors. Auditors are encouraged to adapt the list to their specific organization and applicable regulations.
