Address the challenges of talent management and retention within the internal audit profession, and share strategies for building a robust talent pipeline.
In this session, participating IA leaders will:
- Be provided with an overview of the applicable Standards related to human capital and talent management.
- Share strategies related to recruiting, developing and retaining internal talent to deliver the internal audit functions mandate/purpose.
- Share strategies related to onboarding and managing third-party resources engaged to fill skill and FTE gaps to deliver the internal audit functions mandate/purpose.
- Leverage lessons learned from engaging third-party resources, utilizing guest auditors and/or talent rotated into internal audit for a period of months (ex. 6 to 24 months).
