2026 Global Student Conference Travel Grant

The Internal Audit Foundation is proud to offer the Global Student Conference Travel Grant to support students and educators from around the world in attending the 2026 Global Student Conference (GSC).

This opportunity provides financial assistance for flights, accommodations, conference registration fees, and/or visa support as needed, ensuring that participants can engage fully with their peers and industry leaders at this premier event.

This grant is designed to ensure global representation, with priority given to applicants demonstrating both geographic diversity and financial need.

Who can apply for the Global Student Conference Travel Grant

Students

  • Must be currently enrolled in a college or university at the time of application.
  • Must submit a letter of recommendation from a current or former professor.
  • Preference will be given to:
    • Students in disciplines related to internal audit.
    • Students who hold a valid passport.

Educators

  • Must be a professor, lecturer, or research faculty at an institution of higher education.
  • Must submit a letter of recommendation from a university leader.
  • Preference will be given to:
    • Faculty who currently teach or research internal audit.
    • Faculty interested in expanding internal audit education.
    • Faculty who hold a valid passport

Global Student Conference Travel Grant application requirements

To complete your application, you will need:

  • A letter of recommendation (from a professor for students, or a university leader for educators).
  • Personal statement explaining why you would like to attend GSC, how it aligns with your academic or professional goals and your financial need.

Global Student Conference Travel Grant application deadline

  • The 2026 application cycle will be open from September 15 through October 15, 2025.
  • Selected recipients will be notified before the end of the year.
