Volunteer Opportunities Available in Several Leadership Roles
LAKE MARY, Fla. (September 15, 2022) — With more than 218,000 members in more than 170 countries and territories, The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) provides dynamic leadership for the global profession of internal auditing. Volunteers play a key role and the contributions they make impact the day-to-day functions of internal auditors, as well as shape the future of the internal audit profession.
In alignment with the new Strategic Plan, The IIA is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion across all facets of the organization, including its volunteer base. Volunteer opportunities are available in the following leadership roles: Global Board of Directors, NA Board (U.S., Canada, Caribbean only), Internal Audit Foundation Board of Trustees, Canada Advisory Committee (Canada only), Councils and Committees, District Advisors and Representatives (U.S., Canada, Caribbean only).
Interested candidates with relevant expertise and the ability to participate in the leadership of The IIA for the 2023–24 term are invited to review the opportunities available and submit their nominations electronically by Friday, October 14, 2022. Those elected or appointed to serve will begin their terms in April 2023 or July 2023.
