Welcome to the IIA Central Iowa Chapter
Established in 1941, The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) is an international professional association with global headquarters in Lake Mary, Florida, USA. The IIA is the internal audit profession's global voice, recognized authority, acknowledged leader, chief advocate, and principal educator. Generally, members work in internal auditing, risk management, governance, internal control, information technology audit, education, and security. Established in 1970, the mission of the Central Iowa Chapter is to "Service our membership by providing educational and networking opportunities and promoting the internal audit profession".

Academic Scholarships
The Central-Iowa Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors is allocating $1,250 for the 2025-2026 academic year Scholarship fund. Two (2) $1,250 awards will be available for undergraduates and postgraduates. These individual scholarship awards will be made payable in the name of the recipient.

The CIA Exam Scholarships
The Central-Iowa Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors is allocating funds for two (2) applicants to take the CIA exam in 2025. These grants will reimburse recipients for costs associated for the CIA application and for the three parts of the exam.
