Through a standardized, modularized training experience, Global Faculty Training Program participants will learn best practices in facilitation, adult learning, and course delivery aligned with IIA methodologies and professional standards.

Who will benefit from Global Faculty Training Program?
What are the minimum qualifications of the Global Faculty Training Program?
To ensure the highest instructional quality, The IIA selects facilitators who are active, hands-on internal audit professionals who bring both technical expertise and practical experience to their facilitation.
Global Faculty Training Program applicants must:
- Be an active IIA member.
- Be a current internal audit practitioner with one of the following:
- Minimum 3 years of internal audit experience, or
- Minimum 3 years of related experience (risk, governance, compliance, etc.), or
- Minimum 5 years of management experience (with at least 1 year in internal audit).
- Have at least 2 years of experience training or presenting to others.
- Hold or be pursuing the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or a related credential (e.g., CRMA, CISA, COSO, PMP).
