Discussion will focus on: the importance of getting involved with D&I initiatives, how the new IIA standards tie internal audit's responsibility in advancing diversity and inclusion, the unique position that internal audit can play to support an organization to meet its diversity and inclusion objectives, what projects can internal audit do to enhance the organization's progress on diversity and inclusion. Conversation will also focus on challenges and successes of being women in leadership, unique challenges for internal auditors, how leaders and employees can support underrepresented groups.
